Gave up...

Alright peeps. i gave up on my 30 day blog challenge as you can tell... I just hated doing it everyday and it was annoying me and was pointless Myspace-type crap. Anyways, life has been crazy busy the last couple weeks. My cousin who is 2 months younger than me got married on Feb 11, my mom got married Feb 19, and my buddy Kayli is getting married this Friday! Whew! I love weddings :) I am so happy that my mom got married and is able to live here in Utah again after 10 years in Wyoming, she lives about 10 minutes away from me and I am so stoked!!! The 3 years I have lived here, I can probably count on one hand how many times I went up and visited her because of being so busy with school and working and it is 4 hours to her and my job has no weekends haha. But I love her so much and am so proud of her and KC!

 We got 2 new additions to the Davis family, but they still are unnamed... so any ideas would be greatly appreciated cause I suck at naming things. As you know, I have lost 2 frogs in this apt we have been in for 6 months :( My Buggy baby that was 2 years old was a smarty and figured out how to open the lid to his cage at night and would crawl out, one night he visited us in bed and Josh freaked! Well... we had to duct tape the lid shut and it would get all musty and stinky, so I would open it for a while and let it air out.. this is how both Buggy and Squirt got out, because of me opening the lid and going to bed without remembering to close it :( We searched for days for both of them, but frogs can dry up really quick if they aren't in or misted by water  and they love tight spaces and corners, so we had no luck. But we love our 2 new babies because they are so so tiny and fragile and love to cuddle with mom and dad.

MONSTER!!! He was as almost as big as my palm... and the babies...

could fit 8 in my palm!!

Also my baby Daisy, who we got right after we got married, and she died a few weeks later cause she was sick and not eating :( but we made her happy and gave her Buggy to be with while she was with us.

I could say my cell phone for this one... but whenever I go out with Josh, I never take my phone... soooo I would have to say chapstick. I am a lotion and chapstick freak, I think if I didn't have these I seriously would DIE.

I am addicted to ALOT of shows.... but I don't normally have time to watch them, or they are on super late (kardashians and teen mom), so I am glad that lots of people post them online, or ABC and MTV have free episodes so I can watch them whenever I do have time!! 

I LOVEEEEE Keeping up with the kardashians (and all the above... kim & kourt take new york... khloe and kourt take miami...etc)

Me and Josh watch Criminal Minds every Wednesday... this is one show we don't miss because we can't find it anywhere online to catch up :)

Taylor Swift. Love Her.

She sings about love, which I love, and about REAL things... not about stupid fake fantasies. Things that every girl has gone through and real true-life stories. She may not be that great of a singer live, but who is now days?? She is so cute and down to earth, she loves her fans and will do anything for them, and she isn't all caught up in the Hollywood thing and being famous.

I just wear the simple makeup... foundation, powder, blush, (sometimes) mascara, (sometimes) eyeliner, and eyeshadow. I like natural colors, so it doesnt real seem like im wearing anything.

We are within walking distance of the Jordan River Temple and about a 5 minute drive from the Oquirrih Mountain temple. It is awesome!

Josh's favorite animal (?) is a sea turtle... he LOVES chocolate, ever since we got married he has gotten worse than me and needs chocolate all the time! It is so cute when my hubby says... I need chocolate... haha! Anyway I found these peanut butter filled (he loves peanut butter, give him a pack of PB m&ms and they are gone in a heartbeat) chocolate sea turtles and I had to buy them for him for valentines day. He loved them!

Uhhh I don't know? I'm pissed that it was sunny this morning and now it is an ice storm with lightning... so whatever song can that can match that haha. I am not good with music, I just listen to whatever the radio plays :) I couldn't tell you artist, song titles, etc.

Anyway.... HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO MY HUBS! I got up nice and early before Josh did to make him his favorite breakfast, french toast, by candlelight :) mmm it was yummy.

Day 7

                       

 -Your Dream Wedding-

I LOVE this one!!! I already had my dream wedding! Even though it was NUTS to plan... I did it! I am OCD and don't like other peoples help so I did most all of my wedding planning on my own. I had my mom come dress shopping with me, and Sharon helped get everyone together to help with the food, and I had a TON of people offer to help set up the reception... but other than that I planned everything. I MADE all my centerpieces and I designed and made my own invitations and my family helped put them together, my mom helped me haul all of the chairs and tables we borrowed from a neighbor, me and Josh worked for hours trying to string up chinese lanterns with clear fish string across our pool, my dad made us a fountain for the pool... we saved lots of money making things!  All the details, made appts, found and met with all my vendors, scheduled everything. Ahhh it was crazy and I never want to do it again, but I loved my wedding day! I got everything I wanted... straight down to the gerber daisies I had to have!! I'm so grateful for our parents because they paid for everything, we got lucky!! :) I found my perfect dress (that I still put on some nights cause I love it so much....)

                        

I got my favorite flowers... gerber daisies. Even though they didn't come in lime green or aqua, I was able to get cool lime green spiky flowers and aqua diamonds in the centers of the daisies. My bouquet was awesome!!

Our LOVELY cake was made by Josh's grandma Montague (his mom's mom), so that was free and I loved every piece of it. I was picky and really really wanted no fondant and our favorite cake, rainbow chip, and she was able to pull it off even though she said she may not be able to cause its not strong enough to stack.

                          

 

My centerpieces that I made! Borrowed the bowls, bought 3 different colored pebbles, bought all the gerber daisies online and had to cut all the stems off (cutting through thick wire was not easy) and then filled with water so that the daisies floated!! I loved it! 

                

                  

I got my 3 favorite colors... Pink, Lime green, and Aqua! The guys wore aqua vests under their tuxes and the girls wore a black dress with a colored sash. My mom and I made the girls wristlets instead of buying 6 corsages, and used the same ribbon for their sash. I have 6 sisters, so 2 were in green, 2 in pink, and 2 in blue.

We had an awesome photobooth, unlimited pics, that people would get their own copy (wedding favor) and then a copy to put in a scrapbook that we made and sign by it, instead of just the traditional leave a comment and sign your name in the wedding book, we got pictures of how everyone wanted us to remember them! HAHA. We also had Leatherby's ice cream mmmm.

    

We had the reception in my Dad's backyard and it was so pretty. The pool with the fountain, big umbrellas over the tables, couches on the lawn... ah I loved it.

And the BEST part of my whole day... was that this handsome man...

took me to the temple and we got sealed for time and all eternity :)

Penguins are my most absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world. I only like emporer penguins though... cause they are awesome!!!

Ahhh my sexy Joshua :) He is most definitely my best friend forever! Lots of people did a ton of pics of all their best friends, but I am following the post and posting a picture of my best friend, not friends haha. Josh is so patient with me and loving and when I am in a cleaning mode he just messes stuff up to make me laugh and fight him. He helps with everything around the house like making dinner with me every night, helping with laundry, doing the dishes, and is happy to do anything I ask him to. He is the perfect husband. Everyone should be jealous! 

Day 3

-Your Idea of the Perfect First Date-

Hmmm well my perfect first date would have to include all of my favorite things that me and Josh have done in the past. Our dates are always fun... why would we waste time and money on something that isn't fun??  We would start our day off at Lagoon....

I would most likely end up pouring water on Josh at some point during our day, trip over something, say something stupid, make a fool out of myself. We would go out to dinner at Applebee's and have buffalo wings...

We would go to the store afterwards and buy rainbow chip frosting and Nilla wafers... 

and we would go up to Suncrest, cuddle up on the grass (or the car if it's snowing outside), and eat our favorite treat :) We would then go home and cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. I am a pretty simple girl... I don't need a beach and a picnic to make a perfect first date. I love just staying home and watching movies... that honestly is what I am excited for every saturday on our "date nights" is coming home and just cuddling up and watching a movie. :) ahhhh is it saturday yet??
